Waiting On A Pants Losing: April Pants Droppers

April has an awesome line up of new books coming our way, and I am listing the books I am looking most forward to. Once again, it promises to be a crazy pants losing month. Some of the new releases I will be reading because I just can't wait, because this month has the most awesmazing authors hitting us with their talent. My fan girl is in hyper mode, and I can't deny myself the pants losing. So here's what made my list for April Pants Droppers.

Tor by Lynn Lorenz
Loose-Id
Release Date: April 2nd 2012
Excitability: 4/5 (Love me some Lynn Lorenz)

Blurb:
To the Werewolf Fight League, Tor is a champion fighter. To his master, he’s nothing more than a slave. When Tor’s mate Jin is killed in a brutal cage fight, Tor never wants to fight again. His master, Marrack has other plans for him.

Sky is a beautiful young sex slave, trained to perform sex on whoever buys him. But Sky is special; he’s a virgin and the man who owns him will be very lucky to be the first.

When Marrack buys Sky for Tor, his plan to get Tor back in the cage is set in motion. How could the big were resist mating the beautiful boy? Marrack has one month to get Tor back into shape and fighting again. Everything is riding on this --Tor’s reputation, Sky’s freedom, and Marrack’s money.

Will Tor find love again with a slave boy, or will Tor be betrayed by his new mate?

Power Play (Resistance) by Cat Grant & Rachel Haimowitz
Riptide Publishing
Release Date: April 9th 2012
Excitability: 5/5 (OMG Yeh! Kink is my crack)

Blurb:
Brandon McKinney has scraped and sacrificed for what little in life he’s ever had. Though it’s been fifteen years since he escaped his father’s abuse, the damage remains. Trust seems as far out of reach as his dream of becoming an architect, and though he’s come to accept being gay, he can’t deny the shame and confusion he feels at other urges—the deeply-repressed desire to submit.

Jonathan Watkins is a self-made Silicon Valley billionaire whose ex-wife took half his money and even more of his faith. Comfortable as a Dominant but wary of being hurt again, he resorts to anonymous pickups and occasional six-month contracts with subs seeking only a master, not a lover.

When a sizzling back-alley encounter cues Jonathan in to Brandon’s deep-seated submissive side, he makes the man an offer: Give me six months of your life, and I’ll open your eyes to a whole new world. Brandon doesn’t care about that; all he wants is the three million dollars Jonathan’s offering so he can buy the construction company he works for. But he soon learns that six months on his knees is no easy feat, and shame and pride may keep him from all he ever wanted—and all he never dreamed he had any right to have.

Coming Home by M.J O'Shea
Dreamspinner Press
Release Date: April 9th 2012
Excitability: 3.5/5 (Sounds really good)

Blurb:
Dead broke and newly homeless, Tallis Carrington is on the walk of shame to end all walks of shame. Back to Rock Bay, where he’d once ruled as high school aristocracy with his band of jocks, and tormented a freshman named James Barry. Until a scandal reduced his family's name to little better than a curse word. He needs a job, and fast, so he can put the town in his rearview mirror once again. But the people of Rock Bay haven’t forgotten him, or the kid he used to be.

The only person in town willing to overlook his less than stellar reputation is Lex, the new coffee shop owner, who seems to despise Tally based on his reputation alone. Tally is desperate, so he takes the job, not understanding Lex’s hot and cold routine until he discovers that his gorgeous boss isn’t the newcomer he thought, but the very same kid he used to torture in school. Now he’ll pull out all the stops to prove he was never really the jerk everyone thought him to be. And if he can win Lex’s heart, the rest of the town should be a piece of coffee cake.

Country Mouse by Amy Lane & Aleksandr Voinov
Riptide Publishing
Release Date: April 23rd 2012
Excitability: 5/5 (Who wrote the book is enough to cause a heart attack and premature pants losing)

Blurb:
Owen may be a bit of a country mouse, but he’s loving his vacation in London. After a long day playing tourist, he’s on the hunt for some cheap beer and a good burger. Instead he finds a man hunting him, an arrogant prick with only one thing on the brain: the kind of meat that doesn’t come on a bun.

Eighty-hour weeks at a trading desk don’t leave Malcolm Kavanagh much time for meaningful relationships. Besides, in his world, everything’s a competition—even sex. When his newest one-night-sub fails to show, Malcolm sets his sights on the pretty young Yank on the bar stool beside him.

Owen’s all for an adventure with a native, but he’s not the pushover Malcolm thinks he is, and Malcolm’s not as shallow as he tries to be. They both soon learn that nothing's too intimate to share with a stranger, and the strangest things happen when two people share the most important pieces of their hearts.

Handle With Care by Josephine Myles
Samhain Publishing
Release Date: April 24th 2012
Excitability: 5/5 ( It's a fecking Josephine Myles *nough said*)

Blurb:
The best things in life aren’t free…they’re freely given.

Ben Lethbridge doesn’t have many vices left. After raising his little sister to adulthood, he wasted no time making up for the youth he lost to responsible parenting. Two years of partying it up—and ignoring his diabetes—has left him tethered to a home dialysis regimen.

He can do his job from his flat, fortunately, but most of his favourite things are forbidden. Except for DVD porn…and fantasizing over Ollie, the gorgeous, purple-haired skateboarder who delivers it.

Their banter is the highlight of Ben’s lonely day, but his illness-ravaged body is the cruel reality that prevents him from believing they’ll do anything more than flirt. Not to mention the age gap. Still, Ben figures there’s no harm in sprucing himself up a bit.

Then one day, a package accidentally splits open, revealing Ben’s dirty little secret…and an unexpected connection that leaves him wondering if he’s been reading Ollie wrong all this time. There’s only one way to find out: risk showing Ollie every last scar. And hope “far from perfect” is good enough for a chance at love.

*So those books are what's causing an excitement in my pants. Check them out, and if you like be sure to buy them on their release date.* Keep It Sexy Folks!

  3. You just gave me a heart attack! I've been waiting for Power Play and pre-ordered it a while ago, so I legged it over there to download it, but the release date is the 9th, meaning it will be availble on the 7th for people who pre-ordered it.

Some of the others look worth investigating further. I look forward to your reviews :)
