Thoughts: I love, love, love Kazuma Kodaka! This mangaka has given me some of my fave reads, Kizuna, Bad Teachers Equation. So when I saw Border, I was on it like white on rice. I love this story a hella lot and I just can’t wait to see where it takes me.
Yamato life hasn’t necessarily been good, but he’s always had his little family that loves him to death. Now they run a small detective agency, that breaks all the rules and look pretty as hell doing it. Basically, it tells the story of how Yamato came to be, and his losses and gains along the way.
I like Ms Kazuma’s writing because I never know what I am going to get. It’s not just smut and artwork; there is always a real story with larger than life characters. The stereotypes that can be sometimes found in Yaoi doesn’t usually show up in a Kazuma Kodaka manga. There’s a realistic representation of all types of men, though the situations sometimes is hardly realistic.
Its not always about the gripping story line, because sometimes its all about the sexy. Border is freaking sexy and brings the bromance like crazy. I can’t wait to read the following volumes and get lost in Yamato, Tamaki, Kippei, and Sohgo.
If you love Yaoi and haven’t read this one yet, then I recommend that you do.

This is how Border begins, and my fucking gawd don't you just want to see how the volume ends? |
